This program was established as a means of lending support to Junior Football Clubs and Auskick Centres, in this instance by providing a signed jumper to their club by either Chris Judd, Marc Murphy or Bryce Gibbs for the use of how ever there club pleased to use the jumper whether through auctions, charity functions, fundraisers or display. As part of the Carlton Football Club’s commitment to the community at the grass roots.
Congratulations to all who took part and a big thank you to all the junior footballers and clubs that participated in the program. We wish all the clubs the best for the rest of the season.
Here are some words and stories of how different junior football clubs used the signed jumper:
Cranbourne Junior Football Club: On behalf of the Cranbourne Junior Football Club, I would like to thank the Carlton FC for providing our club with the Marc Murphy signed jumper. The jumper was used as a loud auction item at our recent trivia night and was sold for $265.00. The money will be going towards our club purchasing a Defibrillator Unit. Several weeks ago a 13yr old boy from another club suffered 2 heart attacks during a game and another one on the way to hospital. Our committee decided after this incident that we would purchase one of these units. The units are not cheap as you can imagine ($2500) so all money we raise from our major raffle and the signed jumper will go towards purchasing a Defib Unit for our club. So again, thank you for letting our club be a part of this program.
Batemans Bay Seahawks Junior Football Club: On behalf of the Batemans Bay Seahawks I would like to thank the Carlton Football Club for their assistance in our major fundraiser. Our "Bogan Bingo" night was a huge success and with the auction and raffle we raised almost $3900 for the club. This would not have been possible without the support from CFC as the Guernsey was auctioned for $550. All funds raised will be going to ground and facility upgrades at our home ground. Once again, thank you. I know your support is greatly appreciated by our hard working committee.
South Morang Junior Football Club: The jumper was auctioned at the South Morang JFC Trivia Night. The funds will now be used to buy equipment for the Club.

Diggers Rest Junior Football Club: The jumper sold for an amazing $260 at the Diggers Rest auction night. The lucky winner brought it for their 12 year old son who loves Marc Murphy. All proceeds going to furthering the JFC.

St Damians Junior Football Club: This raised $650 for our football club and will be reinvested to purchasing new football jumpers for our boys and girls.
Waverley Blues Junior Football Club: The Jumpers 4 Juniors is a great initiative and I’m sure has benefitted a number of clubs in raising funds said the President of the Waverly Blues. We were lucky enough to receive a Chris Judd signed jumper and we auctioned that off at our end-of-season Family Night attended by 600 people. It sold for $250, making a Carlton supporter very happy & our club some funds.
