Melbourne's northern corridor is the Carlton Football Club's heartland.
In recognising the importance of supporting the wider community, this week Carlton players visited a number of high schools and junior football clubs.
During their visits, the players participated in a range of football drills and skills sessions. They also fielded plenty of questions on what it's like playing for the Blues.
Fan Development and Community Manager Shawn Wilkey says working collaboratively with AFL Victoria and the community helps ensure that programs are delivered with maximum effectiveness.
"The secondary school students and junior footballers involved in the clinics benefit from the positive lifestyle messaging that the players deliver. They act as positive role models, as well as ambassadors of the Carlton Football Club."
