SOME things are just meant to be.
Eddie Betts will wear the No.19 Navy Blue guernsey in 2020.
After returning home in the Telstra Trade Period, it has been confirmed that Betts will once again wear the number which he wore for 184 games.
Betts debuted in the jumper back in Round 1, 2005, kicking 290 goals on the way to holding the record for the most goals kicked by any Indigenous Blue.

All the memories which Betts has created in the Navy Blue came in the No.19: his Goal of the Year against Collingwood in 2006, his bag of eight against Essendon in 2011 or his final win in Blue in the famous elimination final victory over Richmond in 2013.
The games record-holder in the jumper number at Carlton, Betts will now have his eyes on potentially becoming the first player to feature in 200 games in the number.
