The best birthday present you could ask for. #BoundByBlue
“Being a forward-ruck player this year, my strengths would be my marking and my ability to run and kick,” she said.
“I still think of myself as a play who’s developing, only nine months playing footy so I’m still keen to learn but also get out on the footy field and improve my skills.”
Gibbs forced recruiters to sit up and take notice in a solo performance against Melbourne Uni, taking four marks and producing as many shots on goal against much more experienced opposition.
In terms of what we can expect from Gibbs, she expects to continue in a similar role: however, she believes she can add strings to her . bow.
“I would probably stay with the forward area, potentially running along the wing as well,” she said.
“I like to think that I’m able to play all areas but being so new to the sport, I’m able to learn all the positions and I am hoping to do so.”
