CARLTON will host its first ever AFLW and AFL double-header in 2020.
For the first time in the four-year history of both teams, Bluebaggers will be able to watch the AFLW and AFL action back-to-back for premiership points.
The AFLW Blues will kick things off on the big stage when they face Fremantle at Marvel Stadium in Round 8.
The preliminary final rematch will be the first time the Blues face the Dockers in 2020 — it is also the final game of the home-and-away season.
The first match in a truly Bound By Blue afternoon will kick off at 1:10pm with a potential finals berth hanging in the balance.

The AFL side will back up the action at Marvel Stadium when they run out in the twilight spot for the Round 2 clash with the Western Bulldogs.
Last time these two sides met, a Charlie Curnow-inspired Carlton fell agonisingly short, losing by just three points in Round 13 in one of the games of the season.
Carlton CEO Cain Liddle was pleased to see members get the opportunity to watched AFLW and AFL back-to-back on the main stage.
“Round 2 will also be a historic day: for the first time ever on a match day, our club will truly come together as one to see both our AFL and AFLW sides in action at Marvel Stadium,” Liddle said.
