Promising defender Ciaran Byrne is one step closer in his return to senior football, officially being moved from the Club’s long-term injury list.

Byrne who has been sidelined since Round 15, 2016 after suffering the season-ending knee injury, will line up for the Northern Blues this Saturday when the side takes on Coburg at Preston City Oval.

In further changes to the Club’s list, after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament against Fremantle in Round 9, Sam Rowe has now been placed on the Club’s long-term injury list while mature defender Alex Silvagni has been transferred to the Primary List as a replacement.
