Seven teenagers will take to the field under the Friday night lights of Adelaide Oval, with Cameron Polson named to make his debut against Port Adelaide.
Polson was taken with pick No.59 from Haileybury College in Melbourne and will add to the Blues’ midfield speed and tackling pressure.
The 19-year-old joins Samo Petrevski-Seton, Tom Williamson, Harrison Macreadie, Zac Fisher and Jarrod Pickett to have all made their AFL debuts so far this season.
Andrew Phillips will also line up for the first time in 2017, while Matthew Kreuzer and Dale Thomas will miss with soreness following two consecutive six-day breaks.
For the first time since 2014, the Blues will play for points at Adelaide Oval when the side faces Port Adelaide on Friday night.
