It has come to our attention that an inappropriate comment made by Mitch Robinson was aired in the latest episode of the Carlton Podcast. 

The Carlton Football Club offers its sincere apologies to anyone who was offended by the comment, and the Club takes full responsibility for failing to remove it before the podcast was posted to the Carlton website. 

The comment, in relation to cancer, has since been removed. 

Robinson, like so many other Australians has been affected by Cancer, was extremely remorseful when he had realised what he had said and immediately acknowledged the comment was both insensitive and inappropriate. 

He would also like to extend his heartfelt apologies to anyone offended.

Carlton undertakes positive charity work through long term relationships with both the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation and the Pratt Foundation. These are relationships the Club holds very dear.
