Carlton’s VFLW side will play four home games at La Trobe University in 2019, with next year’s fixture announced earlier today.
Over the course of the 16-round season, the Blues will play the majority of their games at the Bundoora ground, with another three to take place at Ikon Park.
A platinum partner of Carlton’s AFLW team, it’s another sign of the burgeoning partnership between the two organisations and the dual investment to developing women’s football.
The Blues will play their first game at the venue in Round 5, when they host the NT Thunder. The remaining three games will be against Hawthorn (Round 10), Richmond (Round 14) and Darebin (Round 15).

Carlton’s three home games at Ikon Park will kick off against the Western Bulldogs in Round 6, followed by Geelong in Round 8 and Williamstown in Round 11.
Opening the year with a bye, the first game will be against the Casey Demons on Saturday 18 May.
Carlton will also be one of five teams to travel to take on the Northern Territory, heading to Darwin’s TIO Stadium in Round 9.
The AFLW season kicks off for Carlton on Sunday 3 February, when the Blues take on North Melbourne in the inaugural AFLW game in Tasmania.
