- Andrew McKay has enjoyed the most wins in the Carlton guernsey against Fremantle, emerging victorious from eight of his 12 games against the Dockers.
- Carlton’s trips to face Fremantle have seen both sides take an even share of the chocolates in the last decade. From eight games, the Blues and Dockers have four wins apiece.
- Kade Simpson will play his 18th game against Fremantle on Sunday, more than any other Blue. Marc Murphy is readying himself for his 14th outing against the Dockers, drawing level with Scott Camporeale, Brendan Fevola and Bret Thornton in third place.
- Assistant coach David Teague made his Carlton debut against this opponent in Round 1, 2004. No Carlton player has ever enjoyed a debut win against Fremantle.
