CARLTON'S AFLW livewire Georgia Gee will make her VFLW debut this week, as the Blues prepare to face Collingwood at RAMS Arena on Sunday.
The small forward is one of five changes to the Round 10 team that defeated Williamstown by 29 points last week at Ikon Park.
Young guns Tyla Hanks and Madeline Brancatisano will also be welcome additions to the line-up, after returning from the Women’s U18 Championships on the Gold Coast. Hanks had a terrific tournament and was fittingly named in the U18 All-Australian squad, while Brancatisano also made an impact in the middle for Vic Metro.
Having made the move from the Western Bulldogs, Tara Morgan will be a new face to Carlton supporters, and makes her Blues debut on the half-back line, while AFLW-listed player Bridie Kennedy has also been recalled to the team.
After having her wisdom teeth removed earlier in the week, forward Darcy Vescio will miss Sunday’s clash, along with Sarah Last, Jess Malouf, Reni Hicks and Bailey Schultz.
The Blues take on the Pies in their Round 11 match at RAMS Arena, with all the action kicking off at 12 noon.
