CARLTON’S Nick Graham will face fitness testing to determine his availability for the Blues’ season-ending clash with Adelaide at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.
The midfielder didn’t appear at AFL or VFL level at the weekend, with a calf strain keeping him sidelined.
“Nick Graham missed last week with a minor calf strain. He’ll be a test at the end of the week and will need to get through training before being determined available to play,” Head of Football Andrew McKay said.
Meanwhile Jarrod Garlett has undergone surgery on his troublesome shoulder which will see him in full fitness for the commencement of the upcoming pre-season campaign.
“Jarrod Garlett has had some ongoing issues with his shoulder. He saw a specialist late last week and he’s had that repaired over the last few days so he obviously won’t be available to play this week,” McKay said.
“The good news is he will be ready for the pre-season campaign.”
Speedy utility Kym Lebois will also miss the final game of the Northern Blues’ season after being ruled out with a hamstring strain.
“Kym Lebois has been out for a couple of weeks with that hamstring strain. We’ve been trying to get him up for those last couple of VFL games of the year but unfortunately that won’t be the case and he’ll miss this weekend,” McKay said.
