BIRDIES, eagles, albatrosses – it wasn’t about the score at the inaugural MC Labour Golf Day!
More than 75 participants took to the Green Acres Golf Course last week to raise money for the Blues’ CARLTON RESPECTS program – an initiative which aims to promote gender equality for the prevention of violence against women.

AFLW vice-captain Sarah Hosking, defender Gab Pound and forward Tayla Harris attended the day, while representatives from the Club, MC Labour and other corporate sponsors took part.

Guests competed in a ‘longest drive’ and a ‘nearest the pin’ competition, while also having the chance to win a car if they were skilled enough to get a hole-in-one.
A special Carlton Respects hole was created to educate participants about the initiative, while the Club’s General Manager of People, Community, Diversity and Inclusion, Amanda Barker, spoke to the group about the importance of raising social awareness.
