CARLTON will blood its 10th club debutant on Friday night with Matt Shaw earning his call-up for the clash with St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.
After 102 games for the Gold Coast Suns, the 26-year-old rookie will line up for the first time in the navy blue alongside fellow inclusions Kade Simpson, Harry McKay, Paddy Dow and Jarrod Garlett.
The Blues have made several forced changes, with Jacob Weitering (calf), Andrew Phillips (hamstring), Darcy Lang (ankle) and Matthew Wright (soreness) to miss. Nick Graham has been omitted.
Earlier on Thursday, Brendon Bolton revealed young forward McKay would be recalled to the side, while Caleb Marchbank will maintain his spot after receiving the all-clear from the medical team after experiencing an elevated heartbeat in the loss to Brisbane.
The Blues will play their final Friday-night game of the season with the bounce at 7:50pm at Etihad Stadium.
