CARLTON coach Brendon Bolton has taken the plunge for the Big Freeze – sliding into the iconic pool of ice at the MCG on Monday afternoon.
Dressed as Captain Carlton, Bolton, along with the AFL’s 17 other senior coaches, braved the cold to raise much-needed funds and awareness for MND.
In an industry-wide approach, 83,518 spectators packed the ‘G on the Queen’s Birthday holiday to watch each coach hit the slide – and they didn’t disappoint!

Now in its fourth year, Neale Daniher’s amazing initiative continues its crusade to find a treatment and cure for ‘The Beast’, with over $6M raised this year.
