DESPITE a whirlwind of drama at Drummoyne Oval, the Game Changers successfully completed their first interstate trip of 2018 with a 21-point win over the GWS Giants on Friday night.
In the absence of coach Damien Keeping, the Blues' leaders stood strong throughout difficult weather conditions early on, before running away convincing winners.
We dissect the top-five player stats that helped Carlton to its first-ever AFLW interstate win:
SARAH HOSKING
AFLW-record 16 tackles
Facing a tough contested midfield battle, the vice-captain produced the goods when needed most.
Eclipsing the previous best of 14 from Adelaide's Ebony Marinoff in 2017, an AFLW-record 16 tackles says it all. Hosking was hard at the footy all night and never backed down - her defensive pressure pivotal to the Blues' victory.
BRI DAVEY
Game-high 9 intercepts
Despite missing most of the final quarter after being stretchered off, the Blues' inspirational skipper was still a force to be reckoned with.
Davey stood firm yet again in Carlton's defence, recording a game-high nine intercepts.
Back-to-back weeks featuring in the top-five player stats demonstrate the pure class Davey brings to the Game Changers.

SHAE AUDLEY
Game-high 6 clearances
The primary-school teacher told Carlton Media during the week she was eager to get her hands on the footy more, despite her impressive shutdown role against Collingwood.
That goal was achieved last night, with Audley racking up 14 possessions. Her game-high six clearances - along with nine contested possessions and 17 pressure acts - highlighted her strong work in the stoppages.
DARCY VESCIO
Game-high 6 score involvements
After a relatively quiet season opener by her elite standards, last year's leading goalkicker bounced back in Sydney.
A game-high six score involvements - including a goal herself - demonstrated Vescio’s impact in the Blues' forward half.
JESS HOSKING
Team-high 10 contested possessions
Jess Hosking meets her sister in the key stats thanks to her tenacious attack on the footy.
A team-high 10 contested possessions (14 disposals in total) showed the impact she had in Carlton's engine room for the second successive week.
