CARLTON will aim to secure back-to-back wins when it takes on Geelong at Ikon Park on Saturday.
The match kicks off at 11am, with the Northern Blues to follow at 2pm.
Last time they met:
The Blues went down in a thrilling contest at GMHBA Stadium, last season with a final score of 8.3 (51) to 7.2 (44).
Chloe Dalton – who will play her first VFLW game for the season today -- impressed for the Blues with a goal, and was ultimately named one of the best players on the ground.
Fellow inclusion Breann Moody also booted through an important major on the day.
There's plenty to smile about for the #VFLWBlues, with a number of familiar faces returning. #BoundByBlue

Player to watch: Emerson Woods
Emerson Woods played one of her best games of the VFLW season in Round 6 and was named best-on-ground by Carlton coach Shannon McFerran.
The former Vic Metro representative excelled at half-back with 18 disposals, two marks and two tackles.
Woods’ athleticism and cleanliness with ball-in-hand could trouble the Geelong forwards today.
Opposition to watch: Amy McDonald
McDonald is averaging 19.8 disposals from her five games this season for Geelong.
She racked up a season-high 25 possessions in the Cats’ 29-point win over Casey last week, making it three straight weeks with over 20 disposals next to her name.
McDonald finished in the top 10 of the Cats’ VFLW Best & Fairest count last year and has been elevated to the leadership group this season.
Shannon’s say:
“Geelong are a tough opponent. They like to play a high-pressure game.
“We’ll just be looking at moving the ball quite quickly.”
