WITH a stellar season now behind them, Carlton is set to share honours on the AFLW’s night of nights.
The competition’s highest individual honour will be announced this Tuesday night at the third annual W Awards.
Adelaide’s Erin Phillips enters the night as favourite, for what will be her second AFL Women’s best and fairest award.
From a Carlton perspective, a number of Blues are likely to be acknowledged for outstanding seasons.

Youngster Madison Prespakis is the competition favourite for the NAB AFLW Rising Star award after receiving the nomination for Round 2.
Prespakis set the tone against Adelaide in that clash, ending the day with 20 disposals and a goal to finish Carlton’s best. From there, it’s safe to say she didn’t look back.
The midfielder has already come out on top of the competition once - comprehensively winning the vote count to win the AFL Players’ award for 2019 AFLW Best First Year Player – so there is little doubt she can do it again.
Greater Western Sydney’s Alyce Parker and Fremantle’s Sabreena Duffy will no doubt challenge in the voting, both inspiring in their debut seasons.
Prespakis could walk away with her third accolade for the season when the Virgin Australia All-Australian team is announced on Tuesday night.
Carlton is expected to be well-represented in the All-Australian side, following their breakout season in 2019.
Kerryn Harrington and Gab Pound are in contention for their first All-Australian selections for their work down back for the Blues.
Skipper Brianna Davey is also vying for a spot after a season that saw her dominate both ends of the ground in her return from an ACL injury. It would be her second time appearing in the side, after being named at centre half back in the inaugural 2017 team.
For the third consecutive season, Tayla Harris has been nominated for JLT Mark of the Year for her grab in Round 6 against Brisbane.
If she wins on Tuesday night, it will be the third consecutive year a Blue has won the award. Darcy Vescio won it in 2017, while Harris took home the award last year.
