Last time they met:
The Blues notched a first VFLW win on their home deck last time these two sides met in 2018, finishing 46 points the better side with a final score of 9.7 (61) to 2.3 (15).
Jorja Borg impressed for the Blues, but it was the ruck stylings of Breann Moody that earned a best-on-ground nod in the resounding victory.
Jess Hosking was influential up forward for the Blues, collecting two majors to finish Carlton’s leading goal-scorer.
Player to watch: Breann Moody
Breann Moody has been dominating the ruck contest in her three games this season, averaging 28.6 hit-outs.
Moody outnumbered her NT Thunder opponent 33 hit-outs to five in Carlton’s narrow seven-point loss at Latrobe University on Saturday.
Her efforts earned her a mention in the VFLW Team of the Week as she looks to continue a solid run of form.
“Being backed by a club that really supports women’s footy helped me make the journey to VFLW.”

Opposition to watch: Sarah Jolly

Shannon’s say:
“The Bulldogs move the ball really well. They haven’t lost a game yet so I’m expecting a high-pressure contest. Hopefully we can defend really well and then on the flip side, attack and be able to score like we did on the weekend. We had some really good signs on the weekend so we’re hoping for a win.”
