There’ll be a double football fix for Blues fans at Ikon Park next Thursday.
Prior to the JLT Community Series match between Carlton and Essendon (6:45pm), the Northern Blues will host Port Melbourne in a curtain raiser from 4pm.
It will mean that Blues fans who head to Ikon Park for the match will see all their boys in action in one sitting.
Fans who purchase a ticket for Carlton’s clash with the Bombers will be able to enter for the curtain raiser, with gates to enter from 3:45pm.

Carlton members are able to get in free for next Thursday’s game.
It will mark the fourth straight year where the spiritual home will host a Carlton pre-season fixture, following visits from Essendon (2016) and St Kilda (2017 and 2018) in recent years.
The Blues will then head to Morwell to take on their other traditional rivals Collingwood on Labour Day (Monday 11 March).
Carlton’s AFL side returns to action tomorrow, when it hosts Hawthorn at Ikon Park in a practice match from 4pm.
