THE Carlton IN Business major event was held on Friday, with over 1,100 prominent businessmen and women in attendance at Shed 14 Peninsula, Docklands.
This year’s Carlton IN Business luncheon featured guest speakers in City of Melbourne Lord Mayor Sally Capp and Virgin Australia Group CEO Paul Scurrah.
The annual event is now a feature on the calendar for Carlton IN Business – which has now grown to the biggest corporate network in sport across Australia.
Allowing business people across the country to connect and build meaningful opportunities for mutual growth, the Carlton IN Business network now has over 130 members.
“It’s fantastic to see people from a diverse range of Australian businesses come together and exchange ideas.
“We all know Melburnians are sports mad and we particularly love to watch our favourite AFL teams battle it out on the field. One of the things I love about our passion for sport is the important role it plays bringing people together from across our hugely diverse communities.
“It’s great to see initiatives like Carlton IN Business do this on a large scale, connecting people no matter who they barrack for,” Cr Capp said.
Virgin Australia Group CEO Paul Scurrah.
Carlton president Mark LoGiudice said that Friday’s luncheon was another step towards significant growth for Carlton IN Business and all its members.
“Carlton IN Business is the largest corporate network in the Australian sporting landscape and it continues to grow,” LoGiudice said.
“To have over 1,100 businessmen and women from around Australia in the one room, networking, exchanging ideas and knowledge, is mutually beneficial for all involved.
“Carlton IN Business provides its members with an opportunity to come together and explore new business opportunities through a strong network.”
