Arguably in All Australian contention in the opening six weeks of the season, a concussion sustained against North Melbourne has kept the exciting defender out of action since Round 7.
However, Jones returns as one of three additions to the Carlton line-up ahead of the clash with the in-form Dockers.
A chance to step up in the absence of the skipper.

The Blues have had to make another forced change, with David Cuningham ruled out of action this week due to knee soreness. The speedster hyper-extended his knee at training.
Matthew Kennedy and Jack Silvagni round out the inclusions, having been rewarded for strong VFL showings prior to the bye.
The duo could have big roles to play in the absence of Patrick Cripps, with both likely to spend time in the middle and up forward.
In Cuningham’s place, first-year Blue Matthew Cottrell has been named as an emergency. He’s joined by Hugh Goddard, Darcy Lang and Andrew Phillips.
