TWO Carlton players have finished in the top 10 of the AFLW Coaches Player of the Year award.
In her first season in the competition, Madison Prespakis finished in sixth place with 30 votes, leading the Blues in an outstanding debut campaign.
Brianna Davey was close behind Prespakis on 27 votes, having stormed home in the second half of the year.
Come support the Blues this Saturday in their preliminary final against Fremantle at Ikon Park.
Davey polled nine votes in the final game of the year, sharing best-on-ground honours with Monique Conti of the Western Bulldogs. Carlton’s captain collected 21 disposals and 11 tackles against the Dogs.
Davey was joined by Prespakis and Brooke Walker (two) in the votes, as well as defensive duo Kerryn Harrington and Nicola Stevens (one vote apiece).
