FOR just the third time, Carlton’s 2015 draft haul will all feature in the Navy Blue on Sunday.

Four years ago in November, phase two was set in motion when the Blues welcomed Jacob Weitering, Harry McKay, Charlie Curnow, David Cuningham and Jack Silvagni to the Club.

And for the first time since McKay’s second career game, the quintet will combine when the Blues take to Marvel Stadium this weekend.

Curnow has been the missing link in recent weeks, but as he’s scheduled to return from bone bruising this Sunday, he’ll complete the set.

Outlined in pre-season as being key pillars in Carlton’s development, 2019 has been a year where this group has shown the potential to own the future.

Carlton’s first two picks in 2015, Weitering and McKay hit the ground running and haven’t stopped on the way to enjoying career-best seasons so far.

Alongside Liam Jones, Weitering is thwarting all before him in defence, while 21-year-old McKay leads the competition for contested marks after six rounds.

While Curnow hasn’t hit the heights of previous seasons (34 goals in 2018), he’s shown what he can achieve already in his burgeoning career - and a fit Charlie Curnow is a big boost for Carlton.

Injury has restricted Cuningham to just two games so far, but his work up forward has displayed his class and power in equal measure.

Similarly, an average of 16 disposals and eight marks as a high half forward in the last fortnight has set a strong platform for Silvagni’s 2019.

The five make up a significant contingent of the 13 Blues who are aged 22 or under in Sunday’s game.
