16. Darcy Lang
Stats: 30 disposals, 10 marks, eight clearances, eight tackles
From the coach: We used ‘Langy’ more as an inside midfielder this week, and he was impressive with his clearance work as well as his ability to spread from stoppages, both in offence and defence. He used the ball well and he played to the level we expect from him: he’ll get a lot of confidence from that.
19. Angus Schumacher
Stats: 16 disposals (88 percent efficiency), five marks, six one-percenters
From the coach: I liked his game. ‘Schuey’ was really reliable as a defender, where he defended aerial balls and played on smaller opponents. His execution and decision making with his disposal was as good as we’ve seen from him, so it was an encouraging performance.
"It was his best performance for the year."

With his intercepting marking and ball-use on display, Angus Schumacher continues to develop for @NBluesFC.#BoundByBlue
27. Matthew Lobbe
Stats: Eight disposals, four clearances, 26 hitouts
From the coach: Matty competed as he always does, really hard in the ruck. We again split his time up forward, while in the ruck he gave our midfielders first-use and provided an aerial contest around the ground. He’s becoming a consistent performer for us at the level.
29. Cameron Polson
Stats: 15 disposals, five clearances, one goal
From the coach: ‘Pols’ started really well, he kicked a beautiful goal and was really lively. His impact throughout the game was strong: he needs to make sure we can continually split his time between midfield and forward, so we can utilise his energy around the ball.
32. Alex Fasolo
Stats: 19 disposals, 10 marks, two goals
From the coach: I thought his game was really encouraging: we used ‘Fas’ both forward and on-ball, and he was really clever with ball in hand. He set up a number of opportunities, hit the scoreboard late with two goals and his hands and ability to be clean around congestion was a standout.

34. Andrew Phillips
Stats: Nine disposals, four marks, 29 hitouts
From the coach: ‘Flip’ started the game slowly but to his credit, he became an influential player in the ruck and around the ground with his ability to take marks. He’s constantly working really hard to have an impact in the air, and controlled the ruck battle with Matthew Lobbe over the course of the afternoon.
36. Patrick Kerr
Stats: 16 disposals, seven marks, six goals
From the coach: Patty’s form has been pretty consistent, he just got reward on the scoreboard this week. He keep playing to strengths, leading at the ball carrier, better at applying pressure and was able to take his opportunities to kick goals. He was a very good player on the day.
We didn't have to look far for this week's DOC Man of the Match.

And you don't have to look far for @paddykerr11's highlights: enjoy! #Northbound
37. Ben Silvagni
Stats: 13 disposals, four one-percenters
From the coach: Benny competed really well as a defender in his one-on-ones, while we gave him exposure as a forward which is only going to help him. He put pressure on and looked dangerous. We’ll keep adding areas to his game which will help him progress his game further.
42. Kym Lebois
Stats: Three disposals
From the coach: It was Kym’s first game back, and he started well: he got his hands on the footy but made some poor decisions, probably just by out excitement to be back playing. He’s missed a lot of football and we were happy to have him get through: he’ll get better from here.
44. Matthew Owies
Stats: Nine disposals, four marks, three tackles
From the coach: He didn’t have the same impact, but he’s doing some things that are really encouraging. He’s understanding his forward patterns more and more, getting to fall of ball consistently and showing some clean hands: I think it’s a = matter of time before a breakout game. He’s working really hard, which is a great sign for a young player.
45. Hugh Goddard
Stats: 12 disposals, eight marks, three tackles
From the coach: Reliable again: Hugh takes the biggest forward most weeks and does a good job on them consistently. I think what was the most pleasing aspect of his game was that through his communication, he was able to direct a really young backline: his leadership can’t be underestimated.
46. Matthew Cottrell
Stats: 15 disposals, four inside 50s
From the coach: We really liked his game as a coaching staff. ‘Cotts’ played on the wing and his ability to cover the ground is outstanding: he also looks assured with ball in hand and makes good decisions. What he did was clean and classy: we’re confident he’ll get even better from here.
