OVERVIEW
Rob Warnock kicked off season 2014 by playing his 50th AFL game in the navy blue jumper.

After the Blues lost Matthew Kreuzer to a foot injury following the Round 1 clash with Port Adelaide, Warnock was called upon to step up and shoulder the ruck duties.

The 27-year-old rose to the occasion and managed 16 senior games for the season, finishing the year ranked 6th overall in the lead for Hitouts Per Game and 8th for Total Hitouts.

HE SAID IT
“It’s obviously good to get to 50 because it’s taken me a little while to get there whether through injury or whatever. But I won’t be skiting about it. Really it’s just business as usual.”

 - Rob Warnock speaking in the lead-up to his 50th game in a navy blue guernsey.

THEY SAID IT
“To me that was Rob Warnock’s best game. I will stand corrected because there may be other games that he’s played and what he was able to do for us. But I say that’s his best game that he’s played, because of the opposition and what he was able to do for us.”

 - Mick Malthouse speaking after Carlton’s 28-point win over the Western Bulldogs in Round 5.

SEASON HIGHLIGHT
