OVERVIEW
It’s fair to say that Matthew Kreuzer’s 2014 season has been nothing short of frustrating.

The 25-year-old injured his foot during Carlton’s Round 1 clash against Port Adelaide – the same foot that was operated on at the end of 2013.

After strong recommendations from Carlton’s medical team, Kreuzer underwent another batch of surgery, which resulted him in missing the remainder of the season.

Well on the road to recovery, the Blues ruckman has been a welcome sight on the training track at Visy Park.

With a solid pre-season under his belt, Carlton fans can look forward to seeing the No.8 a lot more in 2015.

HE SAID IT
“It’s a contact sport – you’ve just got to cop them (injuries) and get back to improving when you do get back out on the field. You look back and there’s always things like the knee or whatever, it’s just one of those things that you need to keep improving and I’m still developing my game.”

THEY SAID IT
“I’m just looking forward to Matty Kreuzer having a good off-season and pre-season. I think he will be like a new recruit for us… I’m looking forward to seeing him fit and healthy next year.”

 - Michael Jamison’s response to being asked if he could have one player at Carlton, who would it be and why?
