CARLTON will auction off its 2025 ANZAC guernseys in support of the ANZAC Appeal after being proudly worn against Geelong this Sunday at the MCG.
In the second straight game between these two teams on this special weekend, the Blues will have the ANZAC Appeal logo emblazoned on their traditional Navy Blue guernsey, with all of them to be made available and 100% of the profits donated to RSL Victoria’s ANZAC Appeal, helping support veterans and their families.
Helping support veterans and their families, each of the Blues' match-worn guernseys will be available to bid here from 4pm (AEST) Tuesday. Non-playing players' guernseys will also be available in the auction, which will close on Sunday 4 May from 7pm.
In front of what is expected to be another big crowd at the MCG, Carlton small forwards Lachie Fogarty and Corey Durdin proudly wore the jumper ahead of the launch on Tuesday.
Fogarty (a former Geelong player) had four great-grandfathers serve in The Great War as did grandfather Bill with the Royal Australian Navy in World War II, while Corey Durdin's great-great-grandfather William Reginald Durdin also fought for King and country in the First World War.
