TRANSPORT
TRAIN
- Southern Cross Station is located adjacent to Marvel Stadium and stop for both V-line and Metropolitan train lines. It's a short walk across the Spencer Street/Bourke Street pedestrian footbridge to reach the stadium. Refer to the Public Transport Victoria website for up to date information on timetables and service disruption information.
TRAM
- There are a number of trams that stop at Marvel Stadium via La Trobe Street and Harbour Esplanade (#30, #35, #70 #75, #86).
- Further trams operate within a short walk of Marvel Stadium (#11, #48, #96).
BUS
- The bus terminus is at Southern Cross Station and services airport transfers, as well as routes across regional Victoria. Marvel Stadium is a short walk across the Bourke Street pedestrian footbridge from Southern Cross Station.
CAR
- Car parking is available at Marvel Stadium, with entrances on Bourke Street (Entry A & B) and Wurunderji Way (C).
- Car parking can be booked via the Marvel Stadium website
- Please note, the car park has a height restriction of 2.1 metres.
- The car park is open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
DISRUPTIONS
TRAIN DISRUPTIONS:
- Buses are replacing trains between Newport and Werribee stations on the Werribee Line from 10:30pm Friday 28 March until 5am Saturday 29 March.
ROAD DISRUPTIONS:
- The West Gate Freeway has some inbound lane and ramp closures, including Millers Road, Greive Parade and Williamstown Road. Best to allow a bit of extra time if driving in.
- Flinders Street (eastbound) is closed between Elizabeth and Swanston streets – something to keep in mind for those heading through the city.
- The Elgar Rd entry ramp onto the Eastern Freeway citybound is closed each night until 28 March 9pm to 6am.
- The Bulleen Road exit ramp on the Eastern Freeway citybound is closed each night 9pm to 6am until Friday 28 March.
