In an incredible show of support, over 1,000 participants have committed to support the cause and will lace up their running shoes for Carlton Respects.

The community has rallied together ahead of the sold-out Run for Respect event this Sunday around Princes Park, all in the name of preventing violence against women.

Participants of all ages and abilities will complete either a three-kilometre walk or run, five-kilometre run and 10-kilometre run, with a number of past Carlton players also taking part in the event.

All profits will go towards the Carlton Respects community initiative, which aims to reach 6,000 primary school students next year, and is dedicated to further raising awareness and funds to help stop violence before it starts through the expansion of the Road to Respect school program.

For those who have registered for the event, we encourage you to collect your runners' bib and free PUMA t-shirt from Gate 6 at IKON Park, which will be open until 5pm on Thursday.

If you haven’t registered to run on the day, you can still help us make an impact by donating to a registered runner or past player, or by coming down to Princes Park on Sunday to support the day, with plenty of activities on offer for the whole family.

With tickets currently sold out for the 2025 Run for Respect, you can register your interest here in the event of further tickets becoming available or ahead of the 2026 Run for Respect event.

Run for Respect is proudly supported by PUMA, La Trobe University, 13CABS and Essendon Hyundai.
