THE CARLTON Football Club has received pick No.45 from Richmond in the final minutes of the 2024 AFLW Trade Period, in exchange for picks No. 56 and No. 59.
The deal sees the Blues move further up the draft order, to complement its high-end selection of No.5 and No.23, with the Club set to inject exciting new talent in next week’s national draft.
Head of AFLW Ash Naulty said the Club was now looking forward to bringing in a new wave of talent.
“With the addition of a third-round selection draft pick, we have expanded our options and will look to leverage them in line with our strategic focus heading into a really strong draft.”
At the conclusion of the AFLW Trade Period, Carlton hold picks 5, 23, 45, 77, 95, 113 and 131 heading into the 2024 Telstra AFLW Draft.
