CARLTON will welcome back Captain Kerryn Peterson and co-vice captain Abbie McKay for the Pride Round clash with Fremantle.
Providing valued leadership and experience, the addition of Peterson in the backline and McKay in the middle is sure to be a big boost for the young Blues outfit as they travel to Western Australia.
Taylor Ortlepp will also play her first game for the season, with the utility showing positive signs throughout the VFLW season earlier in the year.
Yasmin Duursma (wrist), Jess Dal Pos (calf), and Maddy Hendrie (foot) have been sidelined due to injuries.
This week will mark Brea Moody’s 75th game, as the inaugural Blue becomes the second player to reach the milestone for Carlton.
A two-time All-Australian and two-time Club best-and-fairest winner, Moody has been an integral part of the Blues since the AFLW team’s inception and one of the competition's most revered rucks.
Week 7 also marks the leagues’ Pride Round, where Carlton will run out in their clash Pride guernsey, designed by Zo Lam, to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community.
