THE CARLTON Reserves have named their team to take on Geelong in the penultimate game of the 2024 VFL season.
After injuring his shoulder against Richmond six weeks ago, Corey Durdin will make his return as one of four inclusions to the Blues’ line-up for the clash with the Cats.
Durdin will add some zip in the forward line alongside the likes of Ned Cahill at the feet of key position pairing Harry Lemmey and Liam McMahon, who both kicked multiple goals last weekend against Brisbane.
Joining Durdin as inclusions from a VFL list perspective are co-captain Lachie Young, who returns after missing last week, as well as young midfielder Patrick Dozzi for his first game of the season.
Rounding out the ins is exciting talent Tobie Travaglia, touted as a potential first-round pick come the 2024 Telstra AFL Draft. Travaglia has been one of the standout players for Vic Country and the Bendigo Pioneers this year, with the Blues continuing to strengthening their relationship with Bendigo which has been flourishing in recent years.
The four replace Jack Carroll, Lewis Young (both AFL emergencies), Caleb Marchbank (concussion) and Logan Prout (unavailable) for the Round 20 clash.
The game will be live-streamed on the AFL website from 11:05am.
