BLUEBAGGERS, Elijah Hollands needs your support.
On the back of an outstanding first campaign in Navy Blue, the Carlton recruit has been nominated for the 22under22 squad.
The Blues’ sole nomination for 2024, Hollands has been mightily impressive in his first year alongside younger brother Ollie.
Making his club debut in Round 3, Hollands - who turned 22 back in April - hasn’t missed a beat since then, playing 18 consecutive games and cementing himself as a potent forward-midfielder for his side.
Gaining dual-position selection status in the 22under22 squad (presented by Snaffle), Hollands has been touted as one of the recruits of the season across the entire AFL for his showings in 2024.
To date, Hollands has kicked 15 goals - 10 more than his previous best - and has become a key cog for the Blues in their forward half.
He has saved some of his best performances for the biggest stage, kicking three goals in front of over 88,000 people against Essendon at the MCG, while also recording multiple goals against Geelong (Round 7) and just last week against Collingwood.
Hollands is looking to join teammates Sam Walsh (four selections), Jacob Weitering (three), Patrick Cripps (two), Charlie Curnow (two), Adam Cerra, Sam Docherty and Harry McKay as Carlton representatives in the 22under22 side.
Voting is open now via this link, and closes at 11:59pm on Wednesday 14 August.
