THE Carlton Reserves have named their team to take on the Brisbane Lions at IKON Park.
Taking on the fourth-placed Lions prior to the crunch rivalry clash at the MCG later tonight, the Blues have made seven changes from a fortnight ago on the back of last week’s bye.
From an AFL perspective, Jack Carroll, Caleb Marchbank and Billy Wilson all return to the fold for the Carlton Reserves.
Despite being named in the side yesterday, Lachie Cowan won’t feature due to AFL emergency commitments.
The Blues also regain leading goalkicker Liam McMahon from suspension, while Hayden Gill and Jack Lefroy return to the forward line.
Rounding out the inclusions is Hugo Nosiara, who has been named as 23rd player.
Brodie Kemp, Jack Martin and Marc Pittonet are all in the AFL side after their performances in the big win over Collingwood two weeks ago, while Hudson O’Keeffe misses due to his hamstring injury.
Skipper Lachie Young and Will Hayes are unavailable, while Ollie Badr also comes out of the side after his four appearances as 23rd player.
In the absence of co-captains Young and Lachie Swaney, Zavier Maher will lead out the VFL Blues.
The match will be streamed live on the AFL website from 11:05am.
