ONE tall order.

Carlton has welcomed back some height for Friday night’s clash with Port Adelaide.

After the injuries to Tom De Koning, Sam Durdin and also wingman Blake Acres, the Blues have unsurprisingly opted for key position players on the back of a five-day break from the win over North Melbourne.

The Blues will be able to call upon the services of important defender Mitch McGovern, who has recovered from the hip flexor injury which has kept him out of the last two matches.

He will be joined in the backline by Brodie Kemp, who returns to the AFL fold after one game for the Carlton Reserves which saw him collect 19 disposals and 12 marks in limited game time in the VFL.

Unsurprisingly, Marc Pittonet rounds out the inclusions, with AFL Senior Coach Michael Voss mentioning the ruckman was ready to go to fill the void left by the injured De Koning after respective foot and lung injuries last weekend.

In Acres’ absence, Matthew Cottrell has been named on the wing alongside Ollie Hollands, while Adam Cerra is again named across half-back after his 21-disposal performance in the position last weekend against North Melbourne.

Jack Carroll, Alex Cincotta, Lachie Cowan, David Cuningham and Matthew Owies have been named on the interchange, with the sub to be named an hour before the bounce.

Jaxon Binns, Jordan Boyd and Lewis Young have been named as emergencies.
