THE CARLTON Reserves have named a raft of changes for today’s return clash with Collingwood.
After a one-point loss to the Pies at IKON Park in Round 3, the Blues will play an ‘away’ game at the venue with seven changes to the side which narrowly fell to second-placed Footscray last week.
The VFL Blues will be able to call on the experience of Marc Pittonet and Brodie Kemp following their omissions from the AFL side.
Also returning to the lineup is Michael Lewis, Zavier Maher, Luke Nelson, Heath Ramshaw and Archie Stevens.
Jack Carroll, David Cuningham, Sam Durdin, George Hewett and Jesse Motlop all come out of last week’s side through AFL selection, while Orazio Fantasia will miss through injury.
Leading goalkicker Liam McMahon is also unavailable after a one-week suspension handed down last weekend.
There’s a significant personal milestone for Ned Cahill, with the forward to play his 50th VFL game for the Carlton Reserves — the first player to do so since the team’s inception back in 2021.
Jack Martin and Hudson O'Keeffe will play their second games back from injury after getting through their return match unscathed last weekend.
The game will be live-streamed on AFL.com.au and AFL app.
