CARLTON has named its extended squad of 26 for Sunday’s game against North Melbourne, including two confirmed additions.
There are five inclusions named, with the Blues to cut their squad of 26 to the team of 23 on Friday night.
The Blues have confirmed that George Hewett and Jesse Motlop will both return to the AFL line-up after strong performances for the Carlton Reserves last weekend.
Hewett was one of the Blues' best in the VFL, recording 34 disposals and 23 contested possessions, while Motlop will play his long-awaited first game of the season after toe and hamstring injuries delayed the young forward's start to the season.
After strong performances for the Carlton Reserves last weekend, Jack Carroll, David Cuningham and Sam Durdin round out the inclusions to the team of 26.
Coming out of the squad are Zac Williams (injured) and Brodie Kemp, who has been omitted.
Adam Cerra will play his 50th game for the Blues after making his way to IKON Park at the end of 2021.
