CARLTON’S extended squad has been named for Sunday’s clash with Richmond.

Ahead of their third consecutive game at the MCG, the Blues have named four inclusions into the squad of 26, which will be trimmed down at 5pm on Friday.

Adam Cerra is among the 26, with the midfielder a test to play this Sunday: he will need to complete main training to be available for selection.

He’s also joined in the squad by Jesse Motlop, who could play his first AFL game of the season. After an injury interrupted start to the campaign, Motlop has kicked multiple goals in the last two games for the Carlton Reserves.

Rounding out the inclusions to the extended squad are Caleb Marchbank and Marc Pittonet, who were the VFL Blues’ best two players on the weekend.

Coming out of the squad is Corey Durdin, who has been omitted after playing the last two games as sub.

The Blues will have an extra reason to be on their a-game this weekend, with Zac Williams to play his 150th AFL game this weekend.

Sunday’s game begins at 3:20pm from the MCG.
