ADAM Cerra will return to the Carlton line-up tomorrow night.

As confirmed by AFL Senior Coach Michael Voss earlier on Thursday, Cerra will play his first game since Round 4 after a hamstring injury.

The midfielder is one of four changes to the line-up for the Blues when they take on the old enemy in front of another huge crowd at the MCG.

Returning alongside Cerra is David Cuningham, who returns to the fold after overcoming a calf injury which has kept him out since Round 1.

Alex Cincotta will also play his first game of the season, while Orazio Fantasia returns after he was a late exclusion last weekend due to illness.

Coming out of the side are Jaxon Binns, Jack Carroll, Ollie Hollands and Brodie Kemp (all omitted).

The Blues have opted for a smaller defensive unit against the Pies, with Cincotta looking to bring his customary run and dash which he provided across 19 games in his debut season last year.

Cuningham and Fantasia will add some zip to the Blues forward of the ball, while Cerra’s inclusion marks the first time that the Blues’ full on-ball brigade - Cerra, Patrick Cripps, Tom De Koning, George Hewett, Matthew Kennedy, Marc Pittonet and Sam Walsh - in the same side.

Friday night’s clash with the Pies will make the 29th Peter Mac Cup, with the two old enemies uniting as one to raise funds for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. A special pre-game is planned, with attending fans encouraged to be in their seats by 7:35pm.
