THE CARLTON Football Club has broken its membership record for the ninth consecutive year, reaching 95,278 members to date in 2024.
Today’s milestone celebrates the genuine connection the Club has with its fans, with the Stronger Together mindset making this connection much deeper than what happens on game day.
The energy the Carlton faithful has is infectious and shared by both AFL and AFLW playing groups.
This has led to Carlton home games being a must-see spectacle of energy and passion, which will again be the case when a sea of Navy Blue descends onto Marvel Stadium this Saturday against Adelaide.
Blues members and fans have shown their unwavering support so far this year, selling out crowds in Opening Round, Round 1, Round 3 and Round 4, with a bumper crowd expected tomorrow against Adelaide at Marvel Stadium.
Not only does this announcement acknowledge the long-standing members, but it also commends the new members, with over 16,547 fans signing up for the first time in 2024. The tally of 95,278 is up over 11,885 members compared to the same time last year.
The support also continues for AFLW, with 2,921 members already supporting the W program ahead of their 2024 campaign later this year.
But the job isn’t done yet.
The chase to 100k members is well and truly on as the Club puts the call out to all unsigned Bluebaggers to become a part of Carlton history, by reaching this incredible achievement for the first time.
Carlton AFL captain Patrick Cripps and AFLW captain Keryn Peterson have never felt the Club more connected and are thrilled that more Blues members than ever are proud to put on the Navy Blue in 2024.
“We want to say a huge thank you to all our members, new and existing, for their continued support,” Cripps said.
“Our fans are truly like no other: they are loud, proud and our competitive advantage out on the field.
“Today marks a really important time for the Club and we look forward to growing it even more as we try to get to 100k members this year.”
