The Carlton Football Club is pleased to announce Elderton Wines as its official wine partner for the next three years.
The Elderton range of wines will feature in all of Carlton’s official functions with its boutique wines being served to over 11,900 corporate guests, serving over 7000 bottles of wine throughout the year.
Elderton Wines is a small, family-owned winery, situated in the heart of Australia’s Barossa Valley. The Ashmead family, who just finished their 32nd vintage, are proud custodians of an Estate vineyard which was first planted in 1894.
Allister Ashmead, Co- Managing Director for Elderton Wines is looking forward to showcasing the current vintage to Carlton’s key corporate clientele.

Elderton Wines will showcase its Eden valley and E Series ranges at match day functions with its Estate and Elite ranges being utilised at some of the clubs major events.
Elderton Wines has had great successes including winning the prestigious Jimmy Watson Trophy in 1993, being awarded the World’s Best Shiraz Trophy in 2000 at the London International Wines & Spirit Competition, in 2005 was named in the Top 100 Wineries in the World by Wine & Spirit Magazine and is currently rated a 5 ‘red’ star winery by James Halliday.
The Ashmead family works hard to produce world class wines that celebrate the individual terroirs of each of the vineyards sites as well as showcasing true regional history, character and varietal definition.
