A FIRST look.

Carlton has named its AFL and VFL squads for tomorrow’s first respective hitouts against external opposition.

Hosting Geelong at IKON Park, the AFL match simulation commences at 11:30am, and will consist of four 20-minute quarters. The VFL clash will then kick off 20 minutes following the final siren.

For the Blues, fans will be able to get their first look at recruits Orazio Fantasia and Elijah Hollands, who arrived from Port Adelaide and Gold Coast respectively in the off-season. Fantasia will bring what he’s shown across his 99 games to date in Navy Blue, while Hollands has impressed all comers in a forward-mid role since his arrival at his new club.

There could yet be two more players previously unsighted at senior level, with second-year Blue Harry Lemmey and draftee Ashton Moir named in both the AFL and VFL squads along with Jack Carroll and Alex Cincotta.

Rob Monahan and Billy Wilson have also been named for the VFL squad for their first hitouts as Carlton players.

Marc Pittonet, Zac Williams, Matt Kennedy and Sam Durdin will be available for selection next week, as part of their individual management for pre-season.

There’ll still be a plethora of experience in the 26-man squad for the Blues, with All-Australians Patrick Cripps, Harry McKay, Sam Docherty, Charlie Curnow and Adam Saad all featuring in tomorrow’s match simulation.

The AFL clash will be broadcast on Kayo and FOX Footy from 11:30am. Highlights from the VFL game will be available post-match.
