ONE week to go. 

Carlton is now just seven days away from its first match against external opposition host Geelong at IKON Park next Thursday morning.

Details can now be confirmed for the practice match, with all fans entitled to free entry.

The game will also be broadcast on Kayo.

It was one of Carlton's biggest pre-season training sessions of the year: take a look at the best highlights from the track.

The AFL match simulation - which consists of four 20-minute quarters - begins from 11:30am, with both VFL sides also to go head to head 20 minutes following the match.

Please note, it was originally scheduled for 11am.

Gates 5 and 6 will open from 10am, with the IKON Park car park to be closed. Fans are recommended to take public transport into IKON Park. 

The Carlton Shop will also be open from 9am at Gate 2. 

The Blues will back in action six days later at IKON Park, hosting Melbourne in the AAMI Community Series. 

Members are entitled to free entry, but are encouraged to upgrade and secure their seat for just $5. All the ticketing details for the clash with Melbourne can be found here.

Carlton will then commence its home-and-away season the following Friday when it heads to the Gabba to take on Brisbane in Opening Round.
