STUDENTS were not the only ones returning to school earlier this week.
For the first time since 2020, Carlton Respects returned to the classroom to deliver the ‘Road to Respect’ program.
Using the newly-developed digital learning platform, facilitators visited St. Catherine’s Primary School in Lalor to work with students and teachers in beginning the four-session program.
Designed in collaboration with education experts, Road to Respect has been designed to teach the importance of respectful relationships among primary school students.
Over four sessions, students are walked through an interactive program featuring real-life scenarios presented by some of the Carlton Football Club’s players.
Having been delivered purely online last year, the return of Carlton Respects facilitators to classrooms allows for a deeper understanding of the program for students to build more positive outcomes.
Facilitators will continue to visit schools across the school year. If you’re interested in having your school join in the program, please register your details here.
