THE CARLTON Football Club has unveiled Ampol as a Platinum partner for the next three years.
The new partnership with the Australian-owned company will see Ampol feature on the top back of the iconic Blues' AFL guernsey until at least the end of 2026.
Aligning with both the AFL and AFLW programs at IKON Park, Ampol has also come on board as the Blues' AFLW coaches partner for the next three years and will also join the Carlton IN Business network.
This announcement sees two of Australia's most established brands partner alongside one another, with Ampol's evolution over its 120 years of existence coinciding with the Blues entering their 160th year.
As Australia and New Zealand's largest transport energy provider, Ampol has a deep connection to community and is committed to powering customer journeys, today and tomorrow, through existing infrastructure and by playing its role in the energy transition.
Carlton Football Club CEO Brian Cook said the partnership of two long-standing Australian organisations provides real synergy.
"We are pleased to have an Australian-owned organisation in Ampol show its support and investment in the Club," Cook said.
"Ampol has a key role to play in the ongoing energy transition and we are excited to have its support extend across both our AFL and AFLW team for the next three seasons.
"We appreciate that Ampol has shown a commitment to the Carlton Football Club in its entirety, investing in the wide range of programs across the football club."
Ampol Managing Director and CEO Matthew Halliday said the Blues partnership is a testament to Ampol's continued connection to community through sport.
"We're proud to partner with an iconic club such as Carlton for the 2024 AFL season and beyond," Halliday said.
"Ampol has a long history of supporting initiatives that bring communities together, and nothing brings people together quite like sport and the love of their footy team.
"There is a natural fit between the two organisations. While we are steeped in history and are both recognised brands in Australia's societal fabric, we also have an eye on the future to ensure we continue to deliver for our customers and fans."
