THE Carlton Football Club can confirm that Elijah Hollands has been suspended by the AFL for the first two games of the 2024 home-and-away season.
The 21-year-old cooperated fully with the AFL Integrity Unit investigation, which today suspended Hollands for engaging in conduct unbecoming.
Hollands agreed last month to complete a drug diversion program after being charged in Queensland with possession of an illicit substance in September, while still a Gold Coast Suns player, with no conviction being recorded.
Hollands is eligible to play in any AFL or VFL practice games that take place prior to the Club’s Opening Round fixture against Brisbane.
