THE TEAM is in for the Blues’ Round 4 clash.
With the side in high spirits after a triumphant trip to Perth, there has been one change made to the team to the team that went up against the Eagles last week.
Captain Kerryn Peterson will play her first game of the season, returning from pre-season surgery and will look to bolster the Blues’ defence as Gen Lawson-Tavan serves the first of her two-game suspension.
It will be Carlton’s first home game since Round 1, on what is sure to be a big day for the club with the annual AFLW Carlton Respects round taking place.
The Blues’ midfield will look to keep its momentum up from last week, with its dominant work around the stoppage being a key contributor to the victory over West Coast.
Rucks Jess Good and Brea Moody combined for 55 of the game’s 72 hit-outs last week and look to continue their tag-team approach to stoppages throughout the game.
Mimi Hill and Abbie McKay have been electric around the ground so far this season gathering the ruck’s handywork, with the duo combining for 30 clearances from for first three games of the season.
On what will be a super Saturday for Blues fans, come along to IKON Park to see our AFLW Game Changers in action, taking on the Tigers at 1:05pm in our annual Carlton Respects game, followed by the AFL preliminary final live site, with the Blues v Lions match telecast live on Channel 7.
