CARLTON could have up to five returning players for Sunday’s Round 24 clash with Greater Western Sydney.
Key midfielders Adam Cerra and Sam Walsh have been named in the extended squad, with hamstring injuries keeping them on the sidelines over the last month.
Also named is Mitch McGovern, who re-signed with the Blues for a further two years earlier this week, as well as Lachie Fogarty, who missed the win over Gold Coast with soreness.
Corey Durdin, who had 11 tackles last weekend on return in the VFL, rounds out the potential inclusions.
Sam Docherty experienced some calf soreness and was unable to train throughout the week, and therefore will not be available for selection on Sunday.
Last week’s sub Ed Curnow also comes out of the side.
Named on the extended bench, Caleb Marchbank and Marc Pittonet are in line for their 50th Carlton games pending the final team
