The AFL has confirmed that the 2013 NAB Cup Grand Final will be played at Etihad Stadium between Carlton and the Brisbane Lions, commencing at 7.45pm on Friday March 15.
Etihad Stadium was chosen as the location for the NAB Cup Grand Final as the Gabba was not available to the AFL as Brisbane’s home ground, due to cricket commitments, and the largest possible crowd would be drawn at Etihad Stadium ahead of any potential game at Metricon Stadium.
The two clubs were tonight notified of the AFL's decision and tickets for the match will go on-sale via Ticketmaster from 9am Tuesday March 12. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com.au, on 1300 136 122 or at any Ticketmaster outlet.
